20% of Al Bateen Academy’s International Baccalaureate students achieved 40 points or more

Celebrations are in line at Aldar Education’s Al Bateen Academy for its highest ever IB exam results, with a 100% pass rate. With par excellence, 20% of Al Bateen Academy’s International Baccalaureate students achieved 40 points or more. The school celebrates its first ever student to receive an offer from Oxford University. Klyde Gironella who achieved 45 points – the maximum IB mark possible, achieved by less than 1% of students globally.

To add to its many accolades, Al Bateen Academy International Baccalaureate student, Ananya Khosla secures an unconditional offer from Stanford University and launches  ‘Still I Rise’, a website designed to support children suffering from chronic illnesses.

Student and former Head Boy, Klyde Gironella achieved the highest possible score of 45 points – which is only achieved by less than 1% of students globally. Klyde also marks the first Al Bateen student in the school’s history to receive an offer from Oxford University.

The flexibility and commitment of our students in not only their studies, but in their attitude towards adapting to new learning situations with the same determination should also be congratulated.”
